Launched in 2009 Universal Works is a midlands based contemporary menswear company.

David Keyte's (UW co-founder, director, designer) first collection was produced with him working from his kitchen table.

The aim was to make real, honest clothing based on fit and good design without it being overly fussy.

Universal Works is about the mixing of ideas; understanding heritage and context underpinned by contemporary needs and aesthetics.

Championing skilled, small-scale production. Garments are produced in the right place, both in the UK and overseas, working only with factories we trust, admire and are proud to be associated with.

Universal Works are happy and proud to be an independent, small company, always approaching their work with passion and a sense of humour.
