The Naval Dungaree in ripstop is heavily influenced by the loose-fitting 'deck-bibs', which were worn by US Naval officers during WW2. There is a zip closure map pocket on the chest bib, a small pen pocket to the side and two sizable press-stud patch pockets on the legs. It also features heavy-duty metal clips with the military "broad arrow" engraving on the metal rivets.
The Naval Dungaree is made from 100% cotton ripstop, which is often found in military clothing and was worn immensely by the US army during the Vietnam War. The fabric was first conceived by the US Air Force and was designed to be less susceptible to rips and tears.
